Book Appetit

Since it's mini-challenge time once again (and before i go to a shallow slumber it's past 2 am here in the Philippines that's why my body can't take it anymore lol), I would like to compose a blog about Book Appetit. Currently am reading Love Walked In by Marisa delos Santos. For sure, variety of coffee and tea would be served since am inspired to do a la coffee shop theme where Cornelia is working at the story. Tea sandwiches, pastries like cheese cake slice, blueberry cheese cake, choco cake slice, ham and cheese croissants are also a must and bagel too. Hmm since the author is a Filipino so we'll put a Filipino touch to it by having our very own kapeng barako and tsokolate eh and tsokolate ah and stuffed pandesal too.Hot coffee will also be served, several tea and coffee concoctions both hot and iced will be serve to. For the music, am thinking of slow and chillaxing music, at times may be jazz and at times mellow music too. Decor is somewhat homey and you can smell the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, essence of chocolate and the freshness of pastries and breads being sold at the cafe. Will also have barista too but encouraging my guests to be their own barista, concocting their own drinks and/or making their fave drinks too. With tea candles on each table and fresh flowers adorning the place.

Hour 4 and my 1st post

LOL! /me facepalms .. coz thanks to twitter I remembered the dewey's 24 hour read a thon for this april (coincidentally which am looking forward for months but ironically I lost track of time.. lol talked about age hehe). So am beginning to read now on Hour 4 with Love Walked In by Marisa delos Santos. I read several reviews about this on which the book received positive reviews about it and am planning to read once am done with this book I will read the sequel You Belong to Me. As a response to the introductory questionnaire, please read below: 1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Well am on one of the fine tropical countries in the world which is the Philippines wherein #summerisdefinitelymorefuninthephilippines coz of the temperature we are getting which goes up to 38 degrees celsius lol. 2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I am continuing to read Love Walked In by Marisa delos Santos and its sequel You Belong to Me and it depends what will be next. 3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Hmm actually I don't have any.. just water to hydrate myself from summer heat and good chillaxing music and then the regular meals we'll be having in the next several hours. 4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I love reading books though I sometimes come to a point I become lazy reading them then picking up from where I left off. I also surf the net and chat. I also dream of traveling the world, right now I am hoping and wishing and dreaming of coming to UK one day. 5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? Well for starters, to prepare myself for the 24 hour read-a-thon itself like good music, food, book/s to read, internet connection and checking myself if am still awake (lol). I wish I can do some cheering to other read-a-thoners out there and reading their blog posts and tweets also :) Cheers to all my fellow read-a-thoners and let's read along, shall we?

Blog-mas? Feeling grateful!

Christmas is almost just around the corner and yet you could not see any trace of Christmas decor in my place (lol). I am not being a scroog...
