Hour 24- time elapsed End of Event meme

It's actually my first time to actually participate the read-a-thon coz last April I failed to do so because of a family trip out-of-town. I actually enjoyed it eventhough I was restless due to sleepiness and frustration to finish my tbr books for the read-a-thon.

Books read: 7 out of 10 books
Hours spent reading while tweeting and blogging: 16 hours (already minus my sleeping time coz my body screams sleep, do chores, personal activities)
    Pages read all-in-all: 409

Oh yes I definitely did both!

    1. Which hour was most daunting for you?
Hour 10 coz it's about 5am here in Manila, am starting to become restless and sleepy.

2.Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
Graphic novels would do, picture books and some banned books like In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sedak.

    3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
An integrated chat box or window to the read-a-thon site so we could talk to the participants directly other than tweeting & commenting on blog sites.

4.What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
The cheering and the enthusiasm of the readers to read on and on!

    5. How many books did you read?
7 books mostly easy reading stuff.

    6. What were the names of the books you read?
    >>In The Night Kitchen by Maurice Sedak- considered a banned book from ALA list but personally this is a good book to start reading with your kids and their adventures and what happens to their dreams.
    >>Molly's Surprise by Valerie Tripp- from An American Girl collection; if you're familiar with the doll they made a book series out of the characters from the doll collection. It's about Molly and how the Christmas surprise she knew turned out to be a surprise to her and the McIntire family after all.

7.Which book did you enjoy most?
Actually Molly's Surprise because not only the Christmassy theme and how it struck a chord to me.

    8.Which did you enjoy least?
    None really!

    9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
Keep the energy and the cheering spirit it def helps me to cheer even when restless and tired.

    10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
MOST DEFINITELY WILL PARTICIPATE AGAIN NEXT YEAR, CHEERLEADER & READER!
